I am a classically trained pianist and have coached many students to give award-winning performances in competition. I can help you study for Music Performance diplomas DipABRSM or LRSM and improve your technique.

Theory is an important part of playing piano. Without knowledge of Solfege, learning to play piano is like trying to learn to read without knowing the basic alphabet or rules of grammar. Theory classes are offered to groups of up to 4 students.

I teach piano classes in my studio in Normanby to pupils in Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Yarm, Redcar and the surrounding Teesside area using my Kawai Baby Grand piano. A parent or friend is welcome to accompany you to your lesson.
